Wings Event Center

Greenleaf Hospitality Group's Wings Event Center was built in 1974 and has been home to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL since the 2009-10 season. Wings Event Center is a full entertainment venue offering concerts, professional hockey, family shows and trade shows. The building capacity is 6,300 for festival style concerts, with seating capacity for hockey at 5,113. Wings Event Center features four full-service concourse cafes with three specialty bars located at concourse level. You're invited to visit one of the two novelty stands located in the concourse where you can stock up on cool K-Wings memorabilia!

Throughout the past year, the Wings Events Center Complex hosted over 70 events, totaling 181 event days. The facility, open year round, attracts spectators by offering a wide variety of events ranging from K-Wings hockey to appearances by the Harlem Globetrotters and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).

The Valley

Our second ice arena had its grand opening on September 6, 1989. The arena provides a complete ice facility for many youth skating programs. The principal patrons of the Valley are the Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association (KOHA), the Greater Kalamazoo Skating Association (GKSA), and the Killamazoo Derby Darlins. This venue has also hosted a variety of special events, such as: The Flower & Garden Show, Motorcycle Swap Meet, the Arts & Crafts Show, KOHA Early Bird Tournament, High School Hockey District Tournament, the Kalamazoo Boat Dealers Association Boat Sale and various catered parties and banquets. The Valley offers a spacious, heated viewing area overlooking the ice and includes a full-service bar and lounge which is available during operating hours.

The seating capacity is 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events.

The Zoo

The Zoo opened in 1997. Home of the Kalamazoo Curling Club, this full-sized NHL hockey arena can be used used for both dry and ice events. This facility has been the location of large catered parties of up to 500 or more guests. Other events include the annual Ski Swap Sale and the Arts and Crafts Show. This space also plays host to community recreational activities such as USA Volleyball, Adult League Volleyball, Dodgeball and Badminton Tournaments.


Wings West

Built in 2002, Wings West which has two regulation hockey rinks, is home to the West Michigan Hounds (AAA Hockey), speed skating and figure skating, as well as youth and adult hockey leagues. Located at 5076 Sports Drive in Kalamazoo, Wings West also features a spacious restaurant, Old Burdick’s Bar & Grill. The restaurant has a wide-range of options on their appetizing menu and is a great spot to watch the action on the NHL Rink or to catch the big game on their many big screen TV’s.
