Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce that the final game-worn jersey auction of the season will occur this Monday, April 19th at Holiday Inn West, located off of South 9th Street in Kalamazoo.
The jersey auction will commence at 6 p.m. at the Holidome, which is located just outside of Old Burdick’s Bar and Grill. Jersey’s from the 2009-10 season will be featured during the auction.
Similar to auctions at Wings Stadium, fans with winning bids can pay for their purchases with either cash or credit cards.
Following the auction, the K-Wings will have a major announcement regarding the 2010-11 season, their second season in the ECHL. That announcement will be part of the final K-Wings Live of the season, featuring president Paul L. Pickard, general manager Wade Welsh and director of hockey operations/head coach Nick Bootland.
K-Wings Live will take place 7-8 p.m. from Old Burdick’s Bar and Grill, inside the Holiday Inn West.
