Game Preview

Preparing to meet three times in their final four contests of the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Toledo Walleye at the Lucas County Arena. On the season, the K-Wings are 5-3-2-0 against the Walleye.

Winning last night in Cincinnati, Kalamazoo has increased their lead to four points in the North Division and in the process has taken over first place in the American Conference. The K-Wings lead the conference by one point and will try to add to their lead today over the idle, South Carolina Stingrays.

With four games remaining in their regular season, the Walleye’s magic number to clinch a playoff berth is five points. Currently in third place in the North Division, Toledo is in eighth place in the American Conference, one point behind Reading for seventh and three points ahead of 10th place Trenton.
