One for the Road

Tonight, Kalamazoo will commence their final road swing of the season.  The K-Wings, who are 16-12-3-2 away from Wings Stadium, will visit all three North Division rivals during the trip.

Roster Movement

Forward Matt Jones will return tonight to the K-Wings lineup; however, Kalamazoo will be without defenseman Ryan McGinnis and forward Kyle Kraemer. McGinnis has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose, while Kraemer has returned to school.

Get Shorty

Recently, Kalamazoo, who ranks second in the league with 12 shorthanded goals this season, has been scoring them more frequently. The K-Wings have scored shorthanded in three of their last five games, all of which against the Wheeling Nailers.

Matching the Jersey Number

Forward Sam Ftorek enters the WesBanco Arena on an eight-game point streak. Besides the eight-game streak, Ftorek has scored goals in three straight games for Kalamazoo, one game shy of tying the season-high of four held by Trent Daavettila (10/25/09-11/04/09).
