Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to The Annex and The Cube, announces Karen Newman will perform the national anthem at UCF Cage Combat MMA at Wings Stadium, tomorrow, Saturday, March 20th.

The most action packed full contact mixed martial arts in the Midwest returns to Wings Stadium, with first bell at 8 p.m.

Best known for regularly singing the national anthem at Joe Louis Arena for the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings, Newman will sing prior to the first match this Saturday.  

Newman, who has toured with Bob Seger and Kid Rock, serves as celebrity spokesperson for "Diabetes Care Education Association", and works with numerous local charities in and around Michigan.

A State Certified Fight Doctor and United Cage Fighters (UCF) officials will be at Cage Side, pre fight physicals & post fight exams will be given to all fighters to ensure their safety.

Stadium Management Company owns the Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and can seat up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows.
