Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce a press conference this Tuesday, January 26th to promote the upcoming 2nd Annual McDonald’s Golden Ice Game, presented by WNWN. 

The press conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of the McDonald’s located at 5530 Gull Road (corner of Gull Road and Sprinkle Road. Besides media, the K-Wings are encouraging fans to partake in what is sure to be exciting announcement.)

Scheduled to attend the press conference from the K-Wings will be Paul L. Pickard, president, Wade Welsh, general manager, Nick Bootland, director of hockey operations and head coach, Mike Modugno, director of public relations and broadcaster, Kalamazoo’s favorite mascot, Slappy, and K-Wing players.

Representing McDonald’s will be Jim Lozen, McOpCo development lead Michigan region, Nicole Gutshall, director of marketing for West Michigan, and a representative from the Ronald McDonald’s House of West Michigan.

The press conference will promote the 2nd Annual Golden Ice Game, which will occur this Saturday, January 30th at 7:30 p.m. versus the Cincinnati Cyclones.

All fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to win a FREE authentic 2010 Golden Ice jersey.
