Forward Rick Cleaver to Participate in Two Events during ECHL Skills Competition

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Rick Cleaver has been selected to participate in two events during the 13th Annual ECHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by Reebok Hockey and brought to you by Toyota and the City of Ontario.

Cleaver will participate in the Bull Outdoor Products Rapid Fire competition and the Ice Town Breakaway Relay.

The ECHL All-Stars will take the ice at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California on Tuesday, January 19th at 7 p.m. PT (10 p.m. Kalamazoo local time) for the competition.

The following night, Cleaver will join the American Conference All-Stars as they battle the National Conference All-Stars during the 18th Annual ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok Hockey and brought to you by Toyota and the City of Ontario on Wednesday, January 20th  at 7 p.m. PT (10 p.m. Kalamazoo).

Both events will be broadcast live online free of charge on B2TV.com. The video broadcast will require a high-speed internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player.

On Wednesday, the all-star game will be broadcast locally on WLKM 95.9 FM. The radio broadcast team will feature a three-man broadcast team consisting of the “Voice of the K-Wings” Mike Modugno, Mike Benton of the Stockton Thunder and Joseph Zakrzewski of the South Carolina Stingrays.

Fans can also watch the telecast at the Icehouse by Old Burdick’s located in the Upper Annex of the Wings Stadium Complex.

Other events include the Sher-wood Hockey Puck Control Relay, the Reebok Fastest Skater competition, the Reebok 8.0.8 Hardest Shot competition, and the MeiGray Group Accuracy Shooting competition.
