Game Preview

For the second straight day, the Kalamazoo Wings will head to the Sovereign Bank Arena to battle the Trenton Devils. After falling behind in the opening period, Kalamazoo would come from behind and defeat Trenton 6-2 in last night’s game.

With the victory, the K-Wings remain in sole possession of first place in the North Division. For the second straight game, Darryl Lloyd was the catalyst for the K-Wings offense, scoring a pair of goals in the win. Lloyd leads the league in goals scored with four.

Suffering a loss in the opener last night, Trenton enters the day looking to rebound in the second game of a three game home stand. Devils’ captain Trevor Kell led by example last night figuring in both goals for Trenton. Kell wasn’t alone in generating offense, as Kyle Kucharski also had a goal and assist in the loss.
