WOMEN AT WINGS HOCKEY CLASSIC

Wings Stadium invites you, your teammates and families to enjoy the inaugural Women at Wings Hockey Classic tournament experience. . .

TOURNAMENT AND ENTRY DETAILS:

  • Team Entry Fee is $550.
  • Team Managers or Contacts will receive a special gift from Wings Stadium.
  • All players will receive a 20 percent discount in the Icehouse Bar and Grille located overlooking the Annex
  • First place teams in each division will receive championship t-shirts and a trophy
  • All players that are not current members of USA Hockey for the ’07-‘08 season (Sept. 1st – Aug. 31st) must become members by the start of the tournament. The membership fee is $30 per player (additional local affiliate fee may apply) and can be done online at usahockey.com or on-site at the registration table before the first game.
  • All Players must be 18 years of age or older by the start date of the tournament. Age exceptions may be made for goaltenders only in extenuating circumstances.
  • Each team is guaranteed three games during round robin play.
  • Each team MUST expect one game Friday and two games Saturday during the preliminary round. Semi-final (if necessary) and championship games will be played on Sunday morning. Friday start times will vary depending on the number of teams entered in the event overall.
  • The game schedule will be posted on the Wings Stadium website at www.wingsstadium.com/hockey.htm#adult, and will be e-mailed to the team contacts no later than one week prior to the event.
  • Entry deadline is May 15, 2008. However, any division(s) could close earlier based on ice time availability and number of teams entered overall.
