Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce the festivities planned for this year’s Fan Appreciation Night presented by WKFR this Saturday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m.
During the night, fans will be able to go to Hospitality Hall and view the Turner Cup and Huber Trophy. The Turner Cup is awarded to the postseason champion in the IHL, while the Huber Trophy is given to the member club with the most points in the regular season.
For the second straight season, there will be a Kalsee Credit Union Kash Drop between the first and second periods. Following the game, the K-Wings will announce the results of both the fan voted and statistical awards.
Also following the April 12th contest, the K-Wings will auction off their McDonald’s Warm-Up Jerseys. The post-game auction will occur in the main lobby of Wings Stadium. The auction will be the final jersey auction for the K-Wings this season and the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
Single game tickets for the entire K-Wings 2007-08 home schedule are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Tickets range from $9-$14. Fans are encouraged to purchase their game tickets in advance, as they will save $1 per ticket by getting their seats prior to a game day.
