Jeff Reynaert Earns Southern Sports Supply Goaltender of the Week Honor

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce goaltender Jeff Reynaert has been named the league’s Southern Sports Supply Goaltender of the Week for the period ending March 9th.

Reynaert reigned supreme between the pipes last week earning his first league award. The native of Sterling Heights, Michigan went a perfect 2-0-0-0 holding the opposition to a minuscule 0.50 goals against average in his two appearances.

Highlighting the week for Reynaert was a 25-save shutout yesterday versus the Bloomington PrairieThunder. The shutout was the second this season for Reynaert and the fourth for the K-Wings.

Reynaert joins Jeremy Symington as the only other K-Wings netminder to take home the award this season. Symington received the award in weeks three and nine.   Preparing for three games in four nights, the Kalamazoo Wings will start the week this Wednesday, March 12th with a 10:30 a.m. face-off versus the Flint Generals on Education Day presented by Culver’s.
