Game Preview

Two teams trying to play themselves back into a playoff position face-off tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings square off against the Bloomington PrairieThunder. On the season, Kalamazoo is 6-3-0-1 versus Bloomington and are 2-2-0-0 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.

Back to back to wins over Flint has brought Kalamazoo to within a single point of the fourth and final playoff spot in the IHL, currently held by Muskegon. After playing four games in five days, including tonight, the     K-Wings will receive five days rest before hitting the ice next Saturday at Wings Stadium versus the Fury.

With six weeks remaining in the regular season the time is now for Bloomington to make a move in the standings. Winless in three straight, the PrairieThunder trail the K-Wings by 10 points for fifth place in the league and are 11 behind the Fury for fourth.
