Game Preview

Tonight is the middle game of three straight between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Flint Generals. Kalamazoo lost 5-3 Wednesday afternoon at Wings Stadium. After this evening, the teams will return to Kalamazoo tomorrow night to conclude the trio of contests.

Wednesday’s setback, coupled with Muskegon’s victory over Bloomington, has pushed Kalamazoo back to five behind the Fury for the final playoff spot in the IHL. Winless in their last three, the K-Wings are hoping that going to Flint, where they have won three straight, can help get back to their winning ways.

Winning two days ago has built Flint’s lead to four points over the Port Huron Icehawks for second place in the IHL. After two straight on the road, the Generals return home to where they have won two of their last three games and are 14-6-2-4 overall on the season.
