Game Preview

There will be no love lost tonight, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Flint Generals during the 8th Annual Borgess Health Pink Ice Game presented by WKFR and The CW 7. Kalamazoo is 4-3-0-0 against Flint this season, and all but one contest has been decided by a single goal.

Winless in three straight games at Wings Stadium, pink ice may be the perfect prescription for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo is 4-3-0-0 on the pink colored surface and is riding a four-game winning streak in the annual event.

Without seeing game action in nearly two weeks, the Flint Generals will try to snap a four-game winless streak (0-3-0-1). Flint enters the evening in third place in the league and are two points behind Port Huron for second.

A Night of Milestones

Tonight is a special one for defenseman Ed Campbell and forward Glenn Detulleo. This evening’s game is Campbell’s 800th in his career, while Detulleo will be celebrating his 400th career contest.
