Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce the activities planned for tomorrow’s 8th Annual Borgess Pink Ice Game presented by WKFR and The CW 7 versus the Flint Generals at 7 p.m.
Customary with the K-Wings Borgess Health Pink Ice Game, the K-Wings will host the largest wedding in Southwest Michigan. Tying the knot this year will be Shannon Perry and Jack Fritz of Kalamazoo. Following the wedding, Black Diamond will perform a song for the newlyweds. Black Diamond will also sing the National Anthem prior to face-off.
Besides receiving the largest wedding in Kalamazoo, the couple will receive a night’s stay at the Radisson, flowers for the wedding courtesy of Meijer and a wedding cake by Boonzaaijer Bakery.
Borgess Health will have a table in the concourse with information promoting Heart Month, which is February. Also, on Saturday (2/16) at 9:30 a.m., Borgess Health will return to Wings Stadium for the 2008 Southwestern Michigan Heart Walk.
Following the contest fans will have the opportunity skate on the pink ice. Admission for the public skate is $5; skate rental if needed is an additional $3.
For the second straight week, the K-Wings will start the week with a rare Thursday contest.
Kalamazoo is 4-3-0-0 against Flint this season. Of the seven games between the teams, all but one has been decided by a single goal. Flint enters the week tied for second place with Port Huron. The Generals should be well rested, as February 14th will be their first game in a span of 13 days.

Prices for K-Wings games will increase $1 for premium game nights (Pink Ice and Green Ice).
