Game Preview

Tonight is the first of two straight meetings at Wings Stadium between the Kalamazoo Wings and Muskegon Fury. On the season, Kalamazoo is 5-3-0-2 against Muskegon, which includes two straight victories over their intra-state rivals.

While the nationally renowned act Quick Change will perform during the first period intermission, Kalamazoo is hoping the night ends with a quick change in the standings. With 46 points, the K-Wings are one point behind the Fury, who are currently in fourth place in the IHL.

Besides trying to fend off Kalamazoo, Muskegon has its sights on moving up the IHL standings. Muskegon enters the weekend three points behind Port Huron for third place and five points behind Flint for second. The Fury will end the week on Sunday versus the Icehawks, while Flint is idle until next Thursday.
