Game Preview

In a rare Thursday night contest, it will be must see hockey as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to McMorran Place Arena to battle the Port Huron Icehawks. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-4-2-0 against the Icehawks.

With two games in hand, Kalamazoo is six points behind Port Huron for third place in the IHL. Looking to move closer to both the Icehawks and the Muskegon Fury, who the K-Wings trail by three points for fourth, the K-Wings will need to snap a six-game winless streak against Port Huron.

Tonight concludes a three-game home stand for Port Huron. Rattling off two straight victories to start the stand, the Icehawks are looking to move up in the standings. With Flint idle, Port Huron enters the night with a chance to move into a second place tie with the Generals.

Eight Isn’t Enough

Forward Glenn Detulleo enters the week on a lengthy point streak. Detulleo is on an eight-game point streak, which is a K-Wings current high.
