Game Preview

Arch-nemeses will clash tonight at Wings Stadium, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Fort Wayne Komets. With a record of 2-6-0-1, Kalamazoo trails the season series against Fort Wayne; however, the K-Wings hold a slight edge in the overall IHL series at 121-120-31-1.

Ending a three-game overall winning streak last night in Port Huron, Kalamazoo is looking to rebound at home and in the process up their home-winning streak, which entering the night is at two games. Four of the K-Wings next five games will be played at Wings Stadium.

Riding an IHL current high two-game winning streak, the Komets enter Wings Stadium as the top team in the league. Making some room in the standings by winning eight of their last 10 contests, Fort Wayne now with 62 points, holds a 10-point advantage over the second place Flint Generals.
