I really makes me laugh when you idiots cut down the goalies, we had two really good goalies this year. The DEFENSE was not there all season long and in the playoffs. This team was in no way a championship caliber team from the start. In fact I predicted them to go out in the second round and they went to the conference finals. The goalie is the least respected person on the team. You have to be a true athlete to play the goalie postion. Look at the end of the season awards, Gill or Clermont didn't recieve any awards. I'm sorry but when you have a good pair of goalies and a crappy defense to go along with it, there is only so much the goalies can do. Looks like the kwings need some really great defensemen but since we are a minor league team the higher leagues are going to take all your productive players so it will be a challenge to win games and to win playoff games leading to a championship. I think the Kwings have done great since we joined the ECHL, a lot better than our short stay in the "new" IHL.

FYI. I was not making fun of or cutting down the goalies. I was just stating i would like to see them them play standing on there heads all season not just in the playoffs.

That is YOUR opinion 105, and you are certainly intitaled to it. Is that a reason to call another fan an idiot? IMHO, their GAA and save percentages were not that good in the regular season. I do agree with you on the lack of defence, and the reason we dont have bigger and tougher d men, falls right back to a statment that was made last year. " I wont waste a roster spot on tough guy players" .

Well a lot of you people who post stupid remarks on this board and cutting down the goalies ALL season long and make it sound like it is the goalies fault that the Kwings lose and such are idiots as far as I am concerned. You do not have to be a tough guy or a fighter to play the defense position. You go out there during games and help out the goalie as much as you can from the oppostion bringing the puck into your zone and scoring a goal. A defesemen is like another goalie, but one who can bring the puck down and either score a goal or making an assist with one. Primarily YOU NEED TO HELP THAT GOALIE not just outplayed, make poor decisions and have the opponent just skate right past you and score a goal. I have lost count during the regular season and the playoffs seeing the opponent just skate through our fowards and either score a goal or almost scoring a goal. The kwings need a couple of good quick defensemen who will help the goalie out and not leave him out to dry. That is why the Kwings got the only win they did in the Florida series is because Riley Gill playing defense and not any of the defensemen.

So that's why the Wings lost, Riley playing D and not the defensemen. Gee, I thought they lost because they couldn't score any goals., glad you clairified that for us.

It is clear that you are a gill fan, and that is great. But it is your opinion, like I said. NOT every one has the same thoughts, and it still gives you no right to call other fans stupid or idiots and the like. You know that opioions are just like A. H.'s everyone has one.
