yes......why does coach bootland not endorse physical play? ( it's not the 80's, however this is still a physical game) they play a physical team and wonder why they get pushed around? why does he continually choose the dump and chase game plan( scout someone besides svendson who can carry the puck over the blue line)? his Dline is always weak and slow ( big guys with no mobility or inclination to hit anyone) or ( small guys that are afraid to be hit).
under his tenure it has been BORING HOCKEY! he is losing alot of long time STH's with his decision's!
being a homer on this board I doubt you will ask any meaningful questions!
Yeah, it's getting real boring winning the division every year.

Why do the k-wings use the dump and chase when coming across the blue line? Why not teach them to fire at the goalie EVERY TIME? Several things could happen. One, you score a goal. Two the goalie catches it or directs it out of bounds, and there is a face off in your offensive zone with a line change if you want it. Or three there is a re-bound and you either get it and play it or the other team gets its.
The dump and chase results in only two out comes. One you get the puck or two, the other team gets the puck.

I realize your collegiate career, Minor Pro career and NHL career, coupled with your coaching and scouting experience gives you a great window of opprotunity to come here and explain why people who have dedicated their career to the game do not know as much as you. I respect that.
And topics are meant to read, which is what I did. I did not hear you ask the coach why he has not been let go yet. Did you ask? Or were you too scared?
