Nor did you apprently see him telling the lady "F*&K YOU" over & over. That lady I believe is a season ticket holder & she had the referee signs and she also brought a sign referencing the Chicago coaches tendency to promote dirty play both on Chicago and his past Rockford teams. I personally found nothing offensive about the signs nor was I offended by #98's actions...did I find them appropriate, no but he's in the entertainment business apparently so he felt he had to draw attention to himself. I hope they continue to allow the signs as long as they do not have profanities or dirty pictures on them.
I do believe when she was holding up the signs at the beginning of the third period depicting Martinson's former dirty teams he coach (Rockford and Elmira) that the Wings had rivalries with, Johnson skated by slow and read it and then circled around again and to skate up to the sign, act like he was singing and autograph, and then dropped and F-bomb, no one really cared that he did it. In fact, most of the people around were laughing because it was humorous. Signs should keep being made and this is definitely the K-Wings biggest rivalry so far in the ECHL and the best part is that it's just getting started!!
