I know money wasnt the reason he left. If you dont know why you are clueless, put the pieces together.

Aside from that really callups and IR dont have anything to do with the games played. We dont have an stacked team up front, some guys produce more than others, but its a blue collar type team where everyone chips in. With that being said look at the production we have lost from Svendson, Strong, Asselin, Ellington, Archibald being gone Thats almost your whole top 6. Ellington hands down was our best defenseman and now he goes to the division rival Chicago, and we got nothing in return. He was the QB for our PP.

Now with that being said i am not the biggest fan of either Bootlands, but without them we arent in the position we are in right now. Darryl has been on an offensive streak lately, hes putting the puck in the net a whole lot. We have no depth right now. The fact we were even in any of the games this weekend is amazing. We should be falling like Toledo, they also got raped with injuries and callups. Their whole team was built around Rankin, he is gone, he wont be back, they traded his rights to try and get something.

This team has heart, they will battle, they will make the playoffs. Luckily it looks as though 90% of our call ups will be back for the playoffs.

hardice we can agree to disagree, but i think you need to give credit where credit is due. For being a mediocre team on paper this year, we havent lost 3 in a weekend all season!

Its a bump in the road, they will fix it, we will be playing in April

BC25 yes we an agree to disagree, You are right they might be playing in April. But the only way that they can is if the callups return. What I mean about no team is the players we have are doing their own thing on the ice, there is no team work out there. I know why Nie left I just hope that he comes back to the zoo now that one is gone but the bucks didn't hurt eather.

Sooo pissed right now

im not quite sure that its all his fault..... the guy made some great saves....but if our team has 1 defenceman hurt, 2 in the box..... that only left the k wings with 1 defenceman..... the bottom line is the team looked like crap after the 1st period, but then again i think the guys are a little scared of them....... 2 huge (dirty) hits in the 1st that almost take 2 players out of the game and we dont even react to it........we NEED harry young......clermont didnt cost us the game.......the combo between the ref and dumb penalties did.... and as for the shoot out, wach clermont in warm ups... he dosnt miss the one on ones.... i have a feeling he was pissed at the 2 penalties bootland got and then the defence broke down in the end as well...so in my opinion he just said screw it.

Your user name suits you well...the board on Johnson was dirty ill give you one, if someone had a problem with it do something about it. The whining gets old.

Now the hit on Tolles...no penalty how was it dirty? Thats a good hard hockey play, elbow down, made contact with the shoulder. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at the idiot d man who through that lazy suicide pass to him. I cant even remember who it was. So your first lesson rookie suicide passes are bad, do you see why? He got killed. I hope the d man who passed that puck takes him out to lunch or something this week. Tolles was clearly concust last night, he will be out for a while.

Another general point i have is WHY is it always the refs fault when the wings loose? They called a fairly decent game, but there are so many homers around the zoo these days. Every game if the wings play good or bad people are always complaining about the refs. Case in point that he wasnt one sided...Bootland easily could have went to the box in the first period with the chicago player. Most refs would have called matching roughing calls.

Its funny that everyone throws maxime under the bus too...parked car jokes. NHL network was talking about him in pre season actually saying "hes the next Martin Brodeur" Keep in mind hes 19 years old, hes going to make mistakes. He played in one of the top junior hockey leagues in the world, the same place Sydney Crosby came from, he put up good numbers. This teams defense is horrible. Gill isnt perfect either, but its always so easy to blame them with you people.

On a sidenote a PP goal is never the goalies fault remember that!

Tolles may have had his head down and he may have got hit by a bigger player but the guy did elbow him in the head... not to mention that but I'm pretty sure he took more than three strides before the hit (charging) and to top it all off, they hit was completely illegal because the guy LEFT HIS FEET!!!!!!!! where's Brenden Shanahan and his board of former goons. That hit deserved at least a game if not a suspension. The worst part is when Tolles took that hit, no one even stood up on the team they all just stood back and watched. if anyone should have jumped in, it definitely should have been the d-man who sent the pass
