he!! NO Boot should stamp return to sender on him, then beg Zap to come back... Clermont showed me nothing.

Was Boots not watching when Zap played? Oh, maybe he didn't want to keep Zap because he might have been a threat to Gill. Who know?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we have a choice about Clermont, he's assigned to us, and I don't think Nick wants to carry 3 goalies, so Zaploski was the logical choice.

Couldn't agree more with getting Zap back. He was for sure a threat to Gill prolly could've taken the number one spot. I would think Nick would want to carry three goalies but of the chances of Clermont being called up. Although he Prolly won't b calls up much after his performance

I don't know if he could have placed Zap on the 21 day IR or not, If he culd have it would seem to have been a good move. How ever Zap might have wanted to be released knowing he could not stay, or sit on the IR , he might have prefered to find another team.
Yes he was a threat to Gill, But gill is doing better ,,, so far.

Besides the fact that Gill has earned his chance in the spotlight and the fact that we do not have a choice on Clermont, this convo is dead. However, judging each goalie after one game each is a little out of line. Clermont had a fantastic game in the AHL...and he was sent down...

Well when or who told you you could declare a conversation dead? I don't think so. Yes I heard he had a good game in the AHL,, He had a terrible one in the ECHL. You are judging him also after one game , a game I would be willing to bet you did not see. that is just as bad. How ever, you are right we are stuck with him, perhaps some one will teach him how to track the puck, stop the puck, and find the puck when it is laying by his pads insted of looking for it to fall out of the sky.

clermont is a good goalie. he had a bad night, everyone has them....i mean he let in 4 goals..... so what gill let in 4 as well playing (chicago). people just are not complaning becauce we put in 7...... if no pucks go in the net for us we will lose them all. give the guy a shot!
