I can't see where raising the ticket price and charging for parking will increase attendance. I CAN see where it will decrease attendance. Is this all a big push to move the team downtown? It may move the team but it won't bring the fan base we have now. Somebody in the office isn't thinking too clearly.

If it is to move it down town, then they are getting it right....charge as much as possible so people wont come because it will be downtown and move the team into a fold

It is as frind told me the other day, it is a business. They have the right to charge what ever they feel like charging. It is You who must decide if the product is worth their price. It is just that simple. Just how much are YOU willing to pay for the same thing we have had for years, that has almost doubled in price?
They say that it costs lots of money to maintain the team, I do not doubt it for one second. But rasing prices and charging for parking ( the first i can remember) will do one thing ,,,, drive people away, incuding very long time fans. I have payed for our tickets this year, my last.

if it makes anyone "feel" better.... you can charge the team or the org 10$ everytime they come to your house and park in your driveway.

With all the posters who have vowed to go to "even less" games than previous... i just cant wait to see how that affects the depth and breadth of hockey discussion, based on firsthand experience and real knowledge, on the boards!! Lol, too bad Niezy isnt still here, he'd be a LEGEND after this season!! lmfao

I don't see how stating "I only go to few games" is a positive and persuasive argument for not charging to park, but following that up with "Ill go to even less now!" Wow, what a strong negotiating tactic! Way to minimize the value of the "Couple games a year fan" by posting the same sentiment over and over....
