i have a feeling he was pissed at the 2 penalties bootland got and then the defence broke down in the end as well...so in my opinion he just said screw it.

im not quite sure that its all his fault..... the guy made some great saves....but if our team has 1 defenceman hurt, 2 in the box..... that only left the k wings with 1 defenceman..... the bottom line is the team looked like crap after the 1st period, but then again i think the guys are a little scared of them....... 2 huge (dirty) hits in the 1st that almost take 2 players out of the game and we dont even react to it........we NEED harry young......clermont didnt cost us the game.......the combo between the ref and dumb penalties did.... and as for the shoot out, wach clermont in warm ups... he dosnt miss the one on ones.... i have a feeling he was pissed at the 2 penalties bootland got and then the defence broke down in the end as well...so in my opinion he just said screw it.

Now the hit on Tolles...no penalty how was it dirty? Thats a good hard hockey play, elbow down, made contact with the shoulder. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at the idiot d man who through that lazy suicide pass to him. I cant even remember who it was. So your first lesson rookie suicide passes are bad, do you see why? He got killed. I hope the d man who passed that puck takes him out to lunch or something this week. Tolles was clearly concust last night, he will be out for a while.

tolles had his head down. and, he got LEGALLY hit by a much bigger player. thats why there was no penalty.

Against my better judgement, I'm going to weigh in:

You cannot blame the goalie for this one. How many saves did he make just before the 4th goal went in, 3 or 4, and no one could clear the puck. That was just bad defense. Maybe the Wings are little intimidated by these clowns.

In my opinion, the ref started out calling nothing and ended up calling everything. The hooking call on Daavittila did not look like hooking to me.

Lastly, are you people nuts? The Wings are having a very good season so far. They have one of the best records in the conference, 1st in their division. I agree they've had some stinkers of late but by the whining on this message board you'd imagine they've been playing at the bottom for the last three years.

I agree with you Rookie Fan. There are a couple of players on this team that are afraid to take a hit and always cough up the puck, and it ends up in the back of the net. It has happened all year long with a couple of them. I also agree both hits were dirty and there was a elbow to the head on Tolles. Who cares if no penalty was called, does not mean there should not have been one, missed calls happen in every game. The shocking thing to me is that NOBODY on this team stood up and put an end to the Chicago crap of running players much like the Elmira game earlier in the year when Harvey ran our guys all night long. 3 games in a week span where this team had 3 goal leads and blew them each time. This has got to be frustrating for Bootland, as his team has a work ethic problem and you can't coach lazy and you can't coach lack of pride. The two delay of game penalties in the 3rd period were due to lazy play. They don't get any respect from any other team that comes into wings stadium because they don't deserve it and they have not earned it, and if you play lazy the refs are not going to give you the calls. I feel bad for the goalies, they get no help from the defense to speak of and have not all year long. It appears 60 minutes is too much to ask of out of this team.

Brew Crew, get real, No matter how much you talk up a goalie the proof is on the ice. Simply look at the last 3 home games. I won't make a car joke, because it is not a joke. He can't stop a beach ball thrown by a two year old. The only way to get him to close the five hole is to take away his cup, at least then he will only allow one, I'll bet he closes it after that.
