Hardice...I know you just have to obey the rules of your master and bash people and act like you are the know all of hockey. However, I never declared a convo dead. I just pointed out...and get this....a FACT. He is ours. That is all there is too it. He is obviously a decent goalie. All goalies have good games and bad games. I never judged him on his one AHL game either. I just again, pointed out a fact, that he had a good game there and was still sent down. So what that means is, you can not judge a book by its cover. You need to see more from them.

You might want to try reading comprehension and try to read between the lines and not make things up. You are right in saying I did not see the game. I saw the numbers. Maybe his team was in front of him all night like a good team would be instead of leaving him hanging like the K-Wings did that night here, the game in which you are declaing him a bad goalie.

Hope that clears things up now. But then again, Nie was never a good goalie, so I kind of see where your thoughts come from.

I am sorry KR, you are the one that said this conversation is dead. you are intitled to your opinion. I serve no master, and by the way just so you know I liked Nie I wish he were still here. do not confuse me with whom ever you were thinking about. That being said , In MY OPINION, I do not think that Clermont is that good of a goalie, he had trouble tracking the puck, the puck went to the right he went to the left, he did not stay square to the play did not control the rebounds. Untill he can do thoes things, he would not be a goalie I would like. Zapolsky did them all, no goalie will stop all the shots, that is not a consern. It is the way he plays. and as far as the rest of you accusations perhaps you should look into a mirror. As far as Clermont,, I sencerly hope he gets it together and proves me wrong,

Some may think the 19 year old Clermont isn't a good goalie, that is fine. The eye opener is Riley Gill's numbers. For the best team in the ECHL Gill has played 9 games and is 7-2-0-0 is ranked 21st among goalies with a 3.12 GAA and is ranked 27th in Saves Percentage at .892. That is more alarming with numbers like that for someone considered to be the go to guy. If not for the offensive power, this would look even uglier and people would be calling for Gill.

KALAMAZOO — Forward Patrick Asselin is apparently headed to Germany to play for the Star Bulls Rosenheim hockey team.

He is listed as one of five foreign players on the team's roster.

The K-Wings’ leading scorer, Asselin has 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 13 games and is tied for fifth in points the ECHL.

In two games against the Elmira Jackals in New York last weekend, Asselin had a goal in the K-Wings' 5-3 win and an assist in their 3-2 shootout loss.

He has been playing on the top line with Trent Daavettila and Brandon Svendsen.

Asselin, who played for Hern EV in Germany in 2008-09, was in his third season with the K-Wings.

As of this afternoon, the K-Wings had no comment.
