Last year it cost $30.00 for a car with 2 adults in it to go to the game.
This year it cost $40.80 for a car with 2 adults in it to go to the game.
That's an increase of $10.80!

I don't remember the exact average attendance for last season, but it was around 3,000.
2010-11 Wings would gross $45,000 for 3,000 fans with 1,500 cars to attend the games. This does not count costs for stuff inside.
2011-12 Wings would gross $61.200 for 3,000 fans with 1,500 cars to attend the games. This does not count costs for stuff inside.

That is an INCREASE of $16,200 per game and $583,200 for a 36 game season.

This of course does not take into account STH paying up front and not paying for parking. I don't know how many STH actually go to each game.

I'm not against them making a profit, but did they need an additonal $583,2000?

Just making a valid point that raising prices and penalizing those few fans WHO DO COME is not the answer. It is funny that you bash a player who helped take the team to where they made it, but yet, you are overjoyed that the organization is raising prices so steep for a team that struggles to attract fans. Oh wait, I get it. You just go against the grain because it gets you attention! Darn, I forgot that!

Sure if you want to say parking was included, fine. Then all the money from concessions, K-Wings merchandise, etc are part of parking too. But there has never been a FEE to park. If it was in tickets, they raised them to cover it. So they raised them THIS year and are now charging for parking, so is that double dipping? Please, oh please, shower us with more of your "genius".

You Don’t support a local Org. that provides jobs in Kazoo, supports the community its based in thru employment… supports local business by providing use of its facilities, supports local hockey from the KWings and Jr KWings down to the high school and pee wee league levels, supports local and national charitable organizations to help fight against everything from Breast Cancer to animal cruelty & pet adoption, helps facilitate bringing a wide variety of events in Kazoo, everything from Children and Family based shows to Roller Derby and Concerts? Stupid question, of course you don’t… It’s all about you, the 3 or 4 games a year you attend, and the special treatment and dollar beer you “feel” entitled to. You have as much chance as everyone else to park free. Buy a season ticket. You cant budget $15.00 in personal finances, to cover the parking of the games you actually attend, yet your finger is on the pulse of the Orgs finances?

purchase season tickets you get all the perk's that way. discounts for hockey services merchandise, the icehouse, free parking, a free program for every game, attend the coaches show before every game, the season ticket holder party!.......etc. etc. etc.
they cater to the fan's who commit to a whole seasons worth of attendance! STH's actually fund the team in advance of the season.
the real story here is become a season ticket holder! and truly support the team.... ;)

you discount the rest of the team last year, when you say NIE took them to the finals!......gotta love these SUPERFANS!
lol, DTG Kwingsrock will REALLY be upset when the boards become STH access only without a paid membership. I don't think he knows North Germanic/Swedish/Danish so he cant post for Niezy on the Noway team board. maybe we should go easy on him, hes very sad this season and lashes out in anger in an attempt to deal with his "feelings".

And you really need to think about what a "superfan" is. A fan appreciates the team, win or lose. A superfan thinks they know more than the coach and players who actually play.

I know I actually SUPPORT the team financially win or lose! and for that commitment I actually expect results. and if I don't agree with the product I am paying for, I will feel free to express my opinion. :) if you are so unhappy with the organization for the price increases, you will really be unhappy when they start charging $5.00 to be a member on this message board!!!!!!!

i heard it was "in the works" already. thats why the messageboard wasnt updated with the website, and the new site was late going online. no way to restrict access or collect fee on current set up, no where to enter code or have PayPal put on Messageboard page.

Wouldn't make sense to change before STH packets were handed out, no one would have their code.
