Q) How does it feel to be a champion for
the Kalamazoo Wings? And how does it feel to play
with new players?
A) There are no words that I can tell you how much I feel to be a champion.
I like to play with new players; you make new friends and build good
friendships.

Darlene of Benton Harbor
Q) Adam, we are glad you are back with the
K-Wings this season. My 2 questions are about the
AHL training camp you attended this year. What did
you like the most about being at the Worchester training
camp this fall? What did you like the least? Good
luck this season.
A) What I liked the most about being in Worcester’s training
camp was the challenge of the AHL level. What I liked the least would
be going to a new team and to a town that I didn’t know much
about.

Stacey of Lawrence
Q) Woohoo, glad to see ya back Adam. So I
was wondering, are you excited to play against your
brother? Are we going to see some family feuds going
on? Or are you going to go easy on him?
A) Looking forward to playing against him. I will play against him
as I would any other player.

Mandy of Muskegon
Q) If you needed to pick one team to play
on and not be on the K-Wings, what team in the UHL
would it be and why?
A) Fort Wayne because they get a lot of fans and they have a nice facility!
FROM:
Elle of Portage
Q) You had a really awesome season last year!
What are your goals for this year?
A) My goals are to be a leader to get more points.

Linda of Reading
Q) Hi Adam, how are you? How do you think
you are going to do this year?
A) I’m doing great! I’m excited to be back in Kalamazoo!
I think we are going to do well with the new additions to the team
this year.
FROM:
Ryan of Schoolcraft
Q) Congrats on last year! What was going
through your head when you were skating with the
cup last year?
A) Thank you! It was a great experience. The only thing going through
my head was that we finally won and that we were champions!

John of Saginaw
Q) Just wanted to know if you play golf and
how was your game this summer? If you did not play
golf, what did you do all summer?
A) Yes, I love playing golf and I got to play a lot of courses this
summer. It is a work in progress!
FROM:
Ashley of Fulton
Q) Welcome back!!! I’m sure this will
be a common question, but have you ever played against
your brother and are you looking forward to playing
against him? I feel sorry for your mom!
A) No, this will be the first time we’ve played against each
other. I’m looking forward to playing against him.
FROM:
Kalli of South Haven
Q) What is your favorite pre-game meal?
A) Chicken Parmesan.
FROM:
Matthew of Portage
Q) What’s your favorite cartoon?
A) There are so many to choose from, but I have to say Scooby Doo!

HockeyFan of Kalamazoo
Q) What’s your biggest memory of winning
the Colonial Cup in Danbury? Seeing the OT goal go
in? The celebrating on the ice? The celebrating in
the locker room? Calling your family? What sticks
out the most in your mind when you think of that
night?
A) Well, it all happened so fast that night. I remember the puck going
in the net and then getting off the ice and calling my family.
FROM:
Michele of Portage
Q) Did you take the Cup home with you?
A) No, my parents came to town to see it at the Celebration.
FROM:
John of Portage
Q) Are you excited to play Josh, your brother
and former teammate, when you play Port Huron? Are
you gonna drop the gloves?
A) I am very excited to play against my brother and the other teammates!
I will drop the gloves when the time comes!
FROM:
John of Portage
Q) Did you give Josh a hard time when you
won the Colonial Cup? Did your family have any celebrations?
A) I would never do that to Josh. He played here (in Kalamazoo) for
two years and gave his best. I am not that type of person to brag about
something like that when he worked his hardest all year and to not
be able to be there to experience something like that. So the question
is no!
FROM:
Todd of Three Rivers
Q) I continue to struggle with my backward
skating. Should I stop trying to be a defenseman
and play forward?
A) I don’t think you should ever stop trying. If you struggle
at skating backwards, you should keep on working at it. Even if you
are a forward you will have to skate backwards.
FROM:
Alex of Schoolcraft
Q) Were you good when you were little? Was
Josh mean to you or were you mean to him?
A) My brother and I always got along. We were never mean to each other,
but we had a few feuds once in a while. Let’s say I am better
now than when I was younger.
FROM:
Mike of White Pigeon
Q) Great year last year! How much different
is it gonna be playing against your brother, after
playing with him on the Wings last year?
A) It is going to be weird. I’ve never played against him. But
I am looking forward to playing against him.
FROM:
Jeff of Allegan
Q) Which K-Wings theme song do you like better,
last years or this years?
A) I would have to say last year.
FROM:
Nicole of Schoolcraft
Q) Were you the nice one or was Josh the
nice one? Why did you pick defenseman for you position?
A) I really never picked defence. When I was younger my coaches told
me that I would be good for defence. I gave it a shot and I liked it!
FROM:
Brittany of Kalamazoo
Q) Hi Adam, how does it feel to be back on
the team?
A) I am very excited to be back for another season!
FROM:
Matt of Saginaw
Q) Where did you spend the summer? What kind
of fun things did you do?
A) I spent the summer in Kalamazoo. Well, I played a lot of golf and
did some sight seeing with my family.
FROM:
Josh of Portage
Q) When will the Elzinga brothers get back
together?
A) That is a good question! I hope we can get back together soon in
the near future.
