Curadeau comes to Kalamazoo after spending the past two seasons in the IHL with the Fort Wayne Komets. A two-time Turner Cup champion with Fort Wayne, Curadeau also earned praise from the league, by being named to the All-Rookie Team.

Mathieu's talents have been noticed in the AHL, as the native of Montreal, Quebec has played in 19 games in the AHL, including a contest with one of the K-Wings affiliates, the Worchester Sharks.
