Adding a physical presence up front, the K-Wings have signed forward Olivier Legault. Entering his third-year of professional hockey, Legault has spent the past two seasons with the Fort Wayne Komets of the International Hockey League.
A former 4th round (93rd overall) selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft for the Florida Panthers, Legault has amassed 294 minutes in penalties in his 94 career pro games.
Before turning pro, Legault played five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where the 6-5 left-winger rung up 690 PIMS in 440 games. In his final season in the QMJHL (2006-07), Legault also added 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) in 44 games with the Terrebonne Cobras.
