Vogel
joined the K-Wings as a free agent on 02/15/08.
An eight-year pro, Vogel began the season with
Port Huron. A solid goaltender with strong credentials,
Vogel gives Kalamazoo another goaltender with
an extensive playoff background. Before turning
pro, Vogel played Junior “A” hockey
for four seasons, three in the OHL with the Windsor
Spitfires and a season in the NAHL with the Texas
Tornado. Coming to Kalamazoo reunites Vogel with
Mark Nebus and Ryan Markham, who were teammates
in Port Huron.
