Mills
joined the K-Wings as a free-agent on January 18th. A
first-year pro, Mills started the season in Muskegon.
Before turning pro the native of Calgary, Alberta was
a four-year standout at Manhattanville College (NY) of
the ECAC. In 2006-07 season, was the captain of his Valiants
team which enjoyed record-breaking, history-making season
of 28(21-2-5) as the school set all-time records for
most wins, fewest losses and most GF in a single season
as well as a season-launching 23-games undefeated streak.
Manhattanville captured both the ECAC West regular season
and tournament championships and was ranked #1 team in
the U.S. nation for a
period of 11-weeks.
Mills
set school records for assists (30) and points in a
season (44). With a GPA of 3.77, Mills earned a
berth on ECAC All-Academic
Team and was also honored as Manhattanville College Male
Athlete of the Year and ESPN All-District I Second Team.
He finished his collegiate career second leading scorer
in Manhattanville school history with 94(31-64-95).
