In his fourth year pro, Granbois joins the K-Wings after starting the season in the ECHL with the Bakersfield Condors. Granbois also played in three games with the International Hockey League’s Quad City Mallards.
The Native of Campbell River, British Columbia was a member of the K-Wings during the 2007-08 season. In a season where Granbois would receive the K-Wings’ Meijer Most Improved Player Award, Granbois also tied a team season-high for assists in a game with four (02/29/09).
After his season in Kalamazoo, Granbois remained in the IHL, playing for the Bloomington PrairieThunder, where he finished fifth on the team in scoring with 38 points (13 goals, 25 assists).
Before turning pro, the physical forward played junior hockey in the AJHL with the Bonnyville Pontiacs.
